  • <\/i> Geographic focus is mainly South Africa with selective consideration of very attractive opportunities in the rest of Africa, where the executive and D Capital shareholders have networks and experience<\/li>\n
  • <\/i> Focus on mid cap markets and thereby increasing BEE participation in a sector. D Capital believes the mid-market sector in South Africa represents a highly compelling private equity opportunity<\/li>\n
  • <\/i> Initial sector focus will be on the following sectors: Pharmaceuticals and healthcare, Agro processing, Engineering and B to B services, Manufacturing and Consumer<\/li>\n
  • <\/i> Unlisted companies with well-established market niches, successful track records and strategies that support the prospect of growth and high returns<\/li>\n
  • <\/i> Seasoned and highly motivated management teams<\/li>\n
  • <\/i> Important that management and D Capital work well together and that management are appropriately incentivized \/ co invested<\/li>\n
  • <\/i> D Capital should be able to add demonstrable value and therefore requires a shareholding in the business that would give it significant influence<\/li>\n
  • <\/i> Family owned businesses in named industries where owners want to partially exit and\/or need BEE shareholding<\/li>\n
